So, it’s February 2025 (at time of writing), and we are all still patiently waiting for Rockstar Games to give us some news in regards to their next reveal in the Grand Theft Auto series.
Back in December of 2023 (that sounds weird), we were teased with the very first trailer of GTA VI. It was originally meant to be released on December 7, 2023, however thanks to a very sneaky individual, it was leaked on December 6, and forcibly made Rockstar Games release it to the rest of the world.
Since then, it’s been radio silence. Whilst a number of theories have been spreading about it’s next trailer release, we’re still here and none of them have been right. Rumors have been everything from the Grand Theft Auto 5 release timeline, all the way through to the game has been delayed.
The most interest peaked when Take Two Interactive, Rockstar Games parent company, held their Q3 2025 Investor meeting where they did in fact point out that Grand Theft Auto was due to release in “Fall 2025”. Whilst this isn’t the most informative information out there, it shows that we are still due to get the game later this year (*swipes sweat away from forehead*)
The First Trailer has received over 293 million views on YouTube and broke records for the most views in a 24 hour period, being a non-music video, and we are sure that the second trailer will almost certainly do the same.
